I suggest wearing comfy shoes—seriously. You’ll be walking a lot, and there were spots where I totally regretted my choice of sandals!
If you can look for any family discount days or special promotions online before you go. I saved a few bucks which was nice!
My advice is to pack a lunch instead of buying food there. The prices are kinda steep, and there's plenty of nice spots to picnic throughout the zoo.
