If you can, get there early, like around 10 AM. The pits open nice and early and it’s way less crowded, plus you get a better chance to chat with the teams and check out the cars up close
Plan on staying for the whole show; the night races are amazing! The atmosphere changes and the lights make everything feel electrifying. You won't want to miss it!
I suggest wearing layers. The weather can change fast out there, especially since it's a bit higher in altitude. You'll want to be comfy for the whole event.
