If you’re into architecture, spend a few minutes just walking around and looking up at the buildings. There's some really beautiful detail that you might miss if you’re just snapping photos
My advice is to download an offline map. The layout can be a bit confusing, so having a map handy really helped me navigate better.
I suggest taking a stroll through the nearby Rue de la Roquette for some unique boutiques and hidden gems. It’s a nice contrast to the square itself and not too far away.
