My advice is to check out nearby street vendors for some delicious local snacks after your visit. I found some tasty arepas that weren't in many tourist guides!
I recommend visiting around 4 PM when the light hits the cathedral beautifully for photos and it’s less crowded. I wish I had known this earlier!
I think it's worth taking some time to explore the surrounding plaza. There’s often live music or street performers that really add to the experience.
