I suggest grabbing a snack before your visit – there were limited food options by the castle, and I ended up munching on a granola bar. Packing some food is smart!

My advice is to buy your tickets online in advance to skip the lines. When I went, the queue was massive and it wasted a whole lot of time!

I recommend checking out the nearby gardens too. They were peaceful and a nice break from the castle crowds! I almost skipped them and I'm so glad I didn’t.
