I recommend you bring cash. Some local vendors and guides don't accept cards, and you don't want to miss out on fresh coconuts or that amazing lunch because you can't pay!
I think it's worth your while to pack snacks and water for your hikes. The island's a bit remote, and I found myself pretty hungry after a few hours without food. Bring some energy bars, trust me!
I suggest packing a really good lunch and plenty of snacks. The options in the park are limited and overpriced. I ended up paying way too much for a small meal. Bring what at least lasts you till the afternoon!
