Bring a snack and some water if you're planning to explore. There aren't many eating options around, and I got super hungry by noon, which slowed down my enjoymment of the beautiful gardens.
If you're looking to save some cash, I suggest visiting during the weekday. It's less crowded and some of the entrance fees are reduced at certain temples. I found that out after paying full price during the weekend!
