I suggest getting there around 11 AM to beat the crowds, so you can enjoy a more relaxed tasting experience. The views are stunning in the morning light too!
My advice is to take a bottle of wine home as a souvenir; they offer decent prices at the winery. I even got a discount when I bought two!
I suggest booking your tasting in advance, especially on weekends. We walked in thinking we could just show up, but it was full. We ended up waiting an hour, which was frustrating!
