For a real treat, try to stay at a lodge that has floodlit waterholes. I didn’t, and missed out on seeing nighttime wildlife. I reallly regretted that; it’s a unique experience!

My advice is to bring your own food and drinks. The park's restaurants can get pricey and sometimes they close early. A packed lunch at a scenic spot can be really special!
