I recommend visiting in the late afternoon, around 4 PM, when the light is perfect for photos and the crowds are lighter. It felt way more relaxed than earlier in the day.

I think you should bring a book or a sketchpad! There are plenty of benches where you can chill and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed.

Make sure to explore the historic architecture around, aside from the square itself! I missed out on some cool photo ops near the park entrance because I didn’t wander far enough.
