I suggest heading there around 10 AM right when it opens. It was way less crowded then and I could really enjoy the art without tons of people in the way.
I think you should bring a snack. The cafe is overpriced and limited. I ended up munching on a chocolate bar I had in my bag while sitting on a bench enjoying the view.
My advice is to get the audio guide. It costs a little extra, but it really brings the paintings to life, and I learned a ton of cool facts that I wouldn't have otherwise.
