I suggest arriving on a weekday morning, like around 9 AM. It's way less crowded then, and you can soak in the architecture without too many distractions. Later in the day, it gets pretty busy.

If you plan to take photos check out the afternoon sunlight hitting the stained glass around 2 PM. It makes for some stunning shots! I kinda missed that on my visit.

Bring a water bottle and a small snack. The cathedral doesn't have a cafe, and after wandering around, I really needed a break. There's a lovely park nearby to relax in!
