I suggest packing your own snacks and drinks, especially if you're heading to the beach for the day. The prices at the nearby cafes can be quite high, and trust me, the last thing you want to do is pay $10 for a bottle of water!

Don't forget to check for beach access hours. I thought you could hang out all day, but they kick you out around 10 pm. If you wanna catch the sunset, arrive around 5:30 pm!

I think you should bring a beach umbrella if you can. While there are rentals available, they can add up fast. I got sunburned on my first visit because I underestimated the midday sun!
