My advice is to check out the nearby shops for happy hour deals, especially on Mondays. I found some great drink specials that helped me save money and meet awesome people.

I suggest bringing a small backpack for your essentials, but leave anything valuable in your hotel. I’ve heard stories about pickpockets in busy areas, and I wish I had heeded that advice earlier in my trip!

I recommend hitting up the local gay bars early, around 8 PM, so you can snag a good spot before it gets packed. Trust me, the atmosphere is way better before midnight when everyone’s a bit tipsy.
