I think a hiking stick would be super helpful! The trails can get a bit steep and slippery in parts. I wish I’d brought one, it would have made my hike much easier.
don't forget to bring cash! some of the small shops and cafes around the lakes don’t accept cards, so you'll want to stock up on tenge beforehand.
I recommend starting your day early, around 7 AM. The sunrise over the lakes is simply breathtaking and you’ll avoid the crowds. Plus, you’ll have more time to explore.
