My advice is to always check if there are drink specials or entry fees – some nights it can be much cheaper. I almost paid double on a night when a special was running!
I suggest arriving a bit earlier, around 9 PM, to avoid long lines. It gets crowded quickly, so get in early to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.
I think it's worth it to sit at the bar instead of a table at first. You get a better view of the performances and can mingle more easily!
