My advice is to explore the surrounding area for food; the in-house restaurant is okay but I discovered a couple of local street food spots just a block away. Nothing beats authentic Thai food and it’s super cheap!
I suggest hitting the bar scene during the week rather than the weekend. It gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays, which can be fun, but it’s way easier to chat with locals and ladyboys on quieter nights like Tuesday or Wednesday.
Definitely try to book your stay in advance! I found a killer deal on a few booking sites and saved a chunk of cash for drinks later. It’s worth checking out different platforms to snag a good rate.
