My advice is to bring some water and snacks, especially if you’re there during the summer. The site is interesting, but you might end up walking around for a while without any food options nearby.

I think you should check out the nearby Castle of St... Peter too... It’s not far and gives a cool contrast to the mausoleum... Plus, combo tickets can save you a few bucks!
