I suggest taking advantage of the free parking. Arrive a little before the official opening time and park close to the entrance to save yourself a walk later.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You'll be walking around a lot, and trust me, blisters are not the way to end your fun day!

I think grabbing a bite at the food trucks instead of sit-down restaurants can save you money and time. The food is just as good and way quicker
