My advice is to bring a picnic! You can enjoy some snacks by the falls before or after swimming. It adds to the experience and saves you from buying overpriced food nearby.

I recommend coming around 3 PM when the light is just perfect for photos and the crowds thin out a little. We got some stunning shots and had more space to enjoy the falls!

I suggest wearing good water shoes for the hike, it can get slippery! I slipped a bit and it was not fun. Plus, the water is super refreshing for a swim after, so you'll want to feel comfy
