I suggest checking their schedule online before your visit. I went on a Monday and found out they were closed, which was such a bummer. Definitely plan ahead to avoid that kind of mistake.

My advice is to take your time in the museum. There are so many intricate details in the exhibits—like the furniture and clothing—that you’ll want to soak it all in. Grab a spot on one of the benches and relax for a bit.

I think you should try to catch any workshops or talks they might have. I stumbled upon a great pottery demo while I was there. It really added a cool, hands-on element to my visit!
