Definitely buy your tickets online in advance. The lines can get really long, especially during peak season. I did this and it saved me so much time!

I suggest bringing a light jacket. It can get chilly down there, even if it’s warm outside. I wasn’t prepared and ended up cold most of the tour.

If you can, visit around 2 PM. The light was so much better for taking photos at that time, and it was less crowded than earlier in the day.
