I suggest starting your hike early, around 7 AM, to beat the heat and enjoy the petroglyphs with fewer people around. It makes for great photos too. Trust me, it’s worth it
My advice is to bring a good pair of binoculars. You can see details in the carvings that you might miss up close. I wish I had known this before my trip!
