I suggest bringing plenty of water and snacks, because there's not much around the site. I ran out of water and it really spoiled the experience for me!

I think you might want to take a guided tour if you can. It adds a lot of context and I found myself missing out on interesting facts without one!

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The terrain can be uneven and I totally wished I had better footwear when I was climbing around the quarry
