I found the trails to be beautiful, but I wish I had brought better shoes. If you plan to hike, maybe don’t wear flip-flops like I did. Bring comfy walking shoes!

Check the weather before heading out. I got caught in a rain shower because I didn’t think to check ahead. Having a waterproof cover or small umbrella on hand could’ve saved my day!

If you're planning to rent gear, like kayaks or paddleboards, book ahead! I didn’t and ended up waiting a long time, which cut into my fun time at the beach.
