You should definitely pack a pair of binoculars. You don't want to miss all the stunning wildlife, and trust me, you'll regret it if you forget them!

I recommend bringing snacks and water, because the prices at the lodge can be a bit high. I learned this the hard way when I was super hungry during a trek!

My advice is to get up early, like around 5 AM. That's when the wildlife is most active and you can catch some amazing sights before the tourists swarm in.
