I suggest wearing a swimsuit under your clothes because the Temazcal gets super hot and you might want to cool off afterwards. Trust me it's not uncommon for folks to just jump in the cenote right after!
my advice is to bring a small towel and extra water. i forgot both and ended up spending more on drinks there. you'll want hydration after that steamy experience for sure.
