If you're looking for a specific kind of entertainment, I recommend going on a weekend. I went during the week and it was much quieter than I expected.
Don't be shy. I think chatting with the staff can lead to some great local tips on what to do in Chiang Mai. They really know the hidden gems around.
I suggest checking out the drink specials in the evening – they really have some great deals on cocktails after 8 PM. I didn’t realize until late and missed out on saving some cash.
