I think it’s best to visit on a weekday if you can. The weekend crowds can be a bit overwhelming, and you’ll have a better experience exploring the exhibits without too many people around.
Check out the traditional crafts demos if you can. They’re super fun and give you a unique insight into the culture. I regret not taking more pics!
I suggest taking your time in the wooden churches; they’re works of art! I rushed through on my visit, and I wish I had spent more time admiring the details.
