I think if you go for the live shows, sit near the front. It gives you a better view and you feel more in the action, but come early to grab those seats!
I recommend visiting right when they open around 6 PM. It gets busier later, and you might not get a seat or a chance to chat with the staff, who are super friendly and helpful.
