I recommend checking the weather before you go. If it’s been rainy, the ground can get muddy, and you definitely don’t want to navigate slippery paths.

Bring a bottle of water and some snacks! Once you’re in the caves, there’s nowhere to buy food, and you might be in there for a while.

Don’t forget your camera! The stalactites and other formations are incredible. Just be ready for low light – a little extra lighting can help with photos.
