I suggest arriving by around 10am if possible. You’ll get the best selection of boats and can chat with the staff in a more relaxed environment. Plus, the views are amazing that early!
I think it’s a smart move to bring your own snacks and drinks aboard. The prices on the marina can be a bit steep compared to what you’d get at a grocery store!
My advice is to check the weather a day ahead. We had a fantastic day out, but I heard others got stuck in the rain because they didn’t check!
