Parks Places Map
Parks in Bogota:
Central Park Simon Bolivar
El Lago Park
El Virrey Park
My advice is to check out the art installations scattered throughout the park. They’re often overlooked but add a unique cultural touch to your visit.
Usaken Park
If you're into art, I suggest wandering around the park to find the local artists. They sell some unique pieces at reasonable prices – perfect for souvenirs!
Periodistas Park Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Don't forget to check out the little flea market stalls that pop up sometimes. They often offer unique handmade souvenirs at good prices!
Independence Park
One thing I learned is to bring snacks and water. There are some vendors, but they can be pricey for what you get. Pack your own stuff to save some bucks.
I recommend checking out the nearby cafes before you go into the park. They're a bit hidden but you'll find some gems with great coffee and reasonable prices just a block or two away
La Florida Park
My advice is to bring a good pair of walking shoes. The paths can be uneven, and you'll want to explore all the nooks and crannies without discomfort.
Check out the local vendors outside the park – they often sell delicious snacks for way less than at the park itself. I loved the empanadas I found!
Santander Park
I recommend visiting during the week if you can. It was much less crowded then, and I got some great photos without too many people in the background
