Cathedrale de Saint-Malo

My advice is to spend some time sitting in the nearby square after your visit. It’s a lovely spot to relax and soak up the atmosphere before you head to the next attraction.

Don't forget to check out the view from the top! I recommend climbing the stairs for a breathtaking skyline shot of Saint-Malo, it’s worth the effort!
Look for the free entry days! It can save you a few euros if you plan your visit accordingly, especially if you're a budget traveler like me.

If you can, try to visit during a service or concert. It enhances the experience with the lovely sound of hymns echoing in the cathedral.
Les Ramparts de Saint Malo

I suggest starting your visit around 8 AM to avoid the crowds. The views and quietness in the early morning are just amazing before the hordes arrive!

If you’re into photography, aim for golden hour – maybe 6 PM or so. The sunset over the harbor is breathtaking and you’ll get some killer shots for your feed.

I think you can save some cash by packing a picnic instead of eating at the cafes. The grassy areas near the ramparts are perfect for chilling and enjoying your food with a view!

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! The cobblestones can be a bit tricky and you'll be walking a lot. I learned the hard way after blisters on my first visit!
Solidor Tower

My advice is to bring some snacks and water. There aren't many options nearby, and I regretted not packing a light picnic while enjoying the views from the tower!

I recommend visiting during the early morning, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds. It gives you more time to explore the area and take photos without rushing. Plus, the light is perfect for pictures!
