Architecture in Chicago:
Buckingham Fountain
Don't forget to stroll around the park. The gardens are beautiful and there are some great spots to relax and appreciate the view, especially if you find a bench close to the fountain.
Chicago Cultural Center
My advice is to check out the free programs and events they offer. I stumbled upon a cool art exhibit while I was there, and it was a nice surprise that didn't cost me a thing!
Michigan Avenue
Crown Fontaine
I think it's smart to look for combo tickets if you're planning to visit other attractions in the area... I saved a good few bucks by doing that instead of paying separately
Jay Pritzker Pavilion
Try to arrive around 5 PM if you're visiting during busy weekends. It's easier to find a good spot for the concert without fighting the crowd
Frank Lloyd Wright's Studio House
I think visiting on Wednesdays or Thursdays can help you avoid larger crowds. I went on a Saturday and it was a bit packed—more time standing around than actually enjoying the place!
Chicago Architecture Center
Holy Name Cathedral
Bring a water bottle and a small snack. The cathedral doesn't have a cafe, and after wandering around, I really needed a break. There's a lovely park nearby to relax in!
My advice is to explore the surrounding area after visiting. It's a beautiful neighborhood, and you can find some cute little cafes and shops that won't break the bank. A great way to unwind!
The Merchandise Mart
Rookery Building
My advice is to take the time to explore the surrounding area after your visit. There are some great coffee shops nearby where you can relax and soak in the beautiful architecture of the Loop
