Confectionery & Bakeries in Chicago:
Weber's
I highly reccomend trying their seasonal pastries; they're always a hit! I got the pumpkin spice treat and it was perfectly spiced. Just be mindful that sometimes they can run out fast, so get there early!
My advice is to check their social media for daily specials. I stumbled upon a delicious buy-one-get-one offer that I wouldn't have known about otherwise!
D'Amato's
I think their prices are really reasonable, especially considering the quality, but if you want to save a little cash, look out for daily specials.
i recommend hitting d'amato's right when they open at 7 am. the pastries are super fresh and you'll beat the line!
Try their signature cannoli but my advice is to buy a few because you'll wish you had more after tasting one!
Dinkel's
Lutz
My advice is to try the seasonal items. I spotted the pumpkin spice treats when I went, and they were just the best! They can disappear fast, so grab them while you can!
Bake
My advice is to try the seasonal flavors of the month – they’re often a steal compared to regular items. I got a pumpkin spice cupcake that was amazing and well worth the price.
I suggest visiting Bake in the morning, around 9 AM, to snag the freshest pastries before they sell out. I went later, and some of my top picks were already gone!
Alliance Bakery
I suggest going on a weekday morning around 9 AM. It was way less crowded, and I got to enjoy my pastry in peace! Plus, they might have more fresh items out
