Top Hot Springs in Bay of Plenty

I think going right when they open at 9 AM is the way to go. The place is much quieter, and you get to enjoy the geothermal pools without the crowds. Seriously, I wish I'd gone earlier when I visited!

I totally recommend booking your treatments a few weeks in advance, especially for the popular ones like the mud baths. I thought I could just walk in, but no luck—everything was booked out!

If you're looking to save some cash, try the all-day pass instead of individual treatments. I regret not doing that because it allows you to enjoy multiple facilities without breaking the bank.

Take your time along the paths; the colors and formations are incredible. I almost rushed through, but hanging back gave me time to get some great photos.

I highly recommend visiting the Champagne Pool - it's a stunner, but try to get there early, around 9 am, to beat the crowds and see it in the best light.

Don’t forget sunscreen! Even on cloudy days, the UV rays can be strong here. I learned that the hard way, trust me!

I suggest packing a light snack. There are not many food options in the park and I found the prices a bit steep.
