My advice is to bring a packed lunch. The café inside is nice, but a bit pricey for what you get. A picnic on the castle grounds is a great way to enjoy your visit!

I suggest you check the castle's schedule for special events before you go; we stumbled upon a medieval market that was totally unexpected and super fun!
