My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The zoo is larger than it looks and you’ll be walking around a lot. I totally regretted my choice of footwear.
If you can, try to visit around 10 AM. That's when the animals are most active and you get to see them in a lively mood instead of lounging around
I suggest taking a water bottle with you since you can refill it at various points in the zoo. It saves you from buying overpriced drinks inside.
