My advice is to grab a booklet from the entrance! It has great info about the cheesemaking process, plus some cool history tidbits that made my visit much more enjoyable.
I recommend checking out the shop before leaving. There are some unique cheese products that you won’t find in regular stores, but be ready, it's a little pricey!
If you want a good photo op, swing by the outside area around 3 PM. The light is just perfect for capturing the beautiful Swiss landscape along with your cheese adventures!
