Check the weather before you go. I thought it would be sunny, but it turned out cloudy and chilly. Bring layers! You'll thank me later when you don't freeze your butt off!

My advice is to wear good water shoes. The lake can be a bit rocky in some areas, and trust me, I learned the hard way when I stubbed my toe on a stone! Comfort is key.

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The food around Auli Lake is kinda pricey and not the best quality. I spent more than I planned just grabbing a quick bite.
