Consider buying a Firenze Card if you're planning to see a lot of museums. It saved me quite a bit on entry fees and let me skip some lines!

Don't skip the shop! I found some unique souvenirs that were way cheaper than the ones in the main touristy areas. Take a few moments to browse around.

Get there as early as 9 AM to beat the crowds. I arrived around that time and had a much more peaceful experience exploring the stunning architecture.
