I think it's a good idea to bring some cash. While they do take cards, I found it easier for smaller purchases at the bar. Plus, it's always handy in case there's a technical issue with their card machine.
My advice is to arrive before midnight, like around 11 PM. The lines can get really long, and you don’t want to waste time waiting just to get in.
If you are planning to use public transport after, double-check the schedule. I didn't, and I ended up waiting a long time for a bus at 4 AM. Would have loved to know a bit more about alternate options!
