Grab some cash before you go! Some vendors and shops only take cash, so it's handy to have local currency on you for snacks or souvenirs. Trust me, it saved me from missing out on some yummy momos!

Don’t skip the local pottery shops! I found some incredible handmade pieces and the prices were way better than in touristy areas. Plus, it'll support local artisans!

Bring a good pair of walking shoes! The cobblestones are old and can be uneven. I wish I had worn something more comfortable because my feet were sore by the end of the day.
