My advice is to arrive around 10 AM. It gets really busy after that, and you want to enjoy the peace of the Blue Pools before the crowds start rolling in.
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks; the on-site stuff can be pricey. I saved a good amount doing this and had way more choices!
If you can, bring some sandals or water shoes—trust me, the rocks can be a bit rough on your feet. I wore flip-flops and regretted it
