My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The castle has some uneven terrain and climbing up stairs, so you'll want to be ready for that. I learned the hard way with my fancy sandals

I think you should budget for a local guide. They share awesome stories you won't find in formal tours, and it really adds depth to your visit. Plus, it helps support the local community!

I recommend getting there by 11 AM when the tours start getting busy, so you can soak in the history with fewer crowds. Trust me, the more time you have to explore, the better it feels!
