Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes. There are some steep paths around the house, and you’ll want to be ready to explore every nook and cranny without worrying about sore feet.

I suggest taking a guided tour if you can. The guides are super passionate about Neruda’s life and will share fun stories that you won’t find in the brochures!

Try to visit Casa de Isla Negra on a weekday, especially in the morning around 10 AM. The crowds are way lighter and you can really soak in the vibe of Neruda’s home without feeling rushed.
