If you're into wine, definitely grab a guided tasting tour at the castle. I found it super informative and it really made the experience special. Plus, it's a great way to sample some local wines!
Try to visit on a weekday. I went on a weekend and it was way more crowded, which made it harder to enjoy everything at a leisurely pace.
The castle grounds are beautiful, but I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. I underestimated the walking involved and my feet were killing me by the end.
