I think you should skip the overpriced food at the cenote restaurant. Pack a little snack or sandwich before you go; there are picnic areas!

Before heading out, double-check if they have towel rentals available. I forgot to bring mine and had to buy one – not only was it a waste of money, but it was also super inconvenient.

My advice is to wear water shoes. The steps getting down can get slippery, and trust me, you don’t want to take a tumble when you're excited to dive in!
