My advice is to check the wind conditions before you visit. I went on a windy day, and it made the beach a bit less enjoyable. A calm morning around 10 AM would be perfect for relaxing and swimming

I think it's a good idea to bring your own snacks and drinks to the beach. There are a few vendors, but they can be pricey, and having your own stuff saved me some cash for the fun things.
